    Default 2013...The year of BFP's!

Oh wow congratulations gilttergirl! 😄 Awesome news! Sending lots of sticky baby dust xx

Heids, definitely not too young! We had a surprise BFP when I was 17 and he was 18 and everyone had their opinions about me keeping the baby! Especially my parents friends! I knew they were all talking behind our backs (the friends, not my parents). But they got over it! We then actively tried for DS2 when I was 19, I kept it quiet as I thought with my endometriosis we'd have trouble falling. I told everyone at around 10 weeks and their reactions were much the same! My advice is to take negative comments with a grain of salt.. just brush it off! We were very young, but we are awesome parents and have two, thriving beautiful boys! (even if I do say so myself! lol) And those negative comments were just motivation to prove everybody wrong! Xx

Wow I feel like I have missed so much in this thread over the past few days.

Congrats glitter girl on ur bfp and fx it's one sticky bubba

With DD I lost around 7kgs in the first trimester due to morning sickness and the during the second and third I put on about 12kgs so when I gave birth I was about 5kgs more than before I was pregnant. I was lucky that I lost the weight fairly quickly afterwards. I still have weight that I want to lose.

My ttc journey isn't due to start until march but at the moment I'm on CD39 of a who knows how long cycle lol my cycles range from between 28days and 45days so I never really know when or if they are going to show up. DH and I have dtd plenty of times during the month and we don't use any kind of bc (unless the "pull out method" is classified as bc lol)

I'm on CD 16 today, with lots of ewcm for days now. Yesterday morning I got a medium line and based on previous months I though last night would be the surge....well it actually was a tiny bit lighter then today it's back to faint lines again. I know I haven't ovulated bc my cm goes the day after ovulation.

Clearly my body is trying to ovulate but can't stupid body, so over this

    Congrats glitter! That's awesome news.

Fx Del that o is coming anyday now

Af is due Monday for me. The only symptoms I have are massively sore b00bs which I don't always get when af is due, feeling a little sick & nauseous & peeing heaps. But I do know better than the ss. Will more than likely POAS on Sunday. I hav also cut out all alcohol & caffeine indefinitely just to be on the safe side :-)

Sending ovulation vibes to delirium Hopefully you get there and soon!

My AF isn't due for another 4 days but I've had PMS all week already. I swear my boobs feel like I'm carrying around two boulders - and I'm small chested! Lucky old me, I tend to have PMS symptoms for days and days and days.. to the point where getting AF is a freaking relief!

Ha ha, I hope it comes soon to spare you from the symptoms!

I just got AF (well, a withdrawal bleed cos I am on BC) and I still have 1 pill to take tonight. Normally it takes 3-4 days of the sugar pills before AF comes! I am taking this as a good sign that my body is ready to get on with it .. Hopefully?

Is it bad that I still have 1 hormone pill left if AF has already started?

So I am officially off BC! Yay. It has been bit of a scary decisions 8 months before our wedding, but I've made my decision and I will stick to it . We will be using condoms in the meantime.

How has other Bubhubbers friends' viewed your decision to TTC? My friends and I are heading into our mid 20's and I am the only one who is getting married and thinking about babies seriously. My bestfriend told me the other night "I'm sorry, I just can't imagine you with a baby". I think they are in denial that we are getting older! I understand it isn't everyones top priority but I don't think I am that young to have a baby?
Personally, I haven't told anyone...I hinted to one of my high school friends that I was keen on having kids soon and she thought it was a great idea, but I think that just says a lot about her own priorities in life. I'm the only one of my friends who seems to be getting married etc as well...I also find a lot of older people assume you're going to wait until your 30+ and that kind of annoys me, mostly because they make generalisation about what people in their early to mid-20s do!

I don't think my parents would be surprised if I told them, nor my siblings either. I think now that I'm married, most of my relatives assume we'll have kids soon. I don't want to tell anyone close to me I'm trying though, until I'm 8-12 weeks!
