Hope ur ok Nomie, DH parents got stuck down primrose sands, they had to evacuate too but the only way out was by water. They sat out in their boat in gypsy bay until 2:30am. I also have friends who have lost everything but thankfully they are still alive! It's devasting seeing pics of the aftermath especially dunalley

Last night was a very long restless night full of worrying which I'm sure was the same for the majority of Tasmania! Heart breaking stuff

    Default 2013...The year of BFP's!

Hi Nomie, I hope you and your family are okay. I know what you are going through. We lost everything in Black Saturday.

And you too Bearbug, I hope you and everyone is okay.

On a different note, I think DP is getting clucky for #2.

Bearbug - It's horrible isn't it? Hopefully they open the roads that are isolating Primrose Sands and The Peninsula today. It's amazing how quickly the community has come together though! And the firefighters have done such an amazing job.

Last night I stayed at my parents again. Both their suburb, my suburb and the suburb where we DF and I are building are under a watch and act alert. So not unpacking my bags just yet. People had evacuated horses tied up to trees down at the beach yesterday. Smoke was so thick. :/ Today looks more promising.

So sorry to hear that. You never think it would happen to you. Can I ask if it took long to rebuild and regain a sense of normality? And yay for your DH getting clucky. It's easier when they get on board!

As for O pains. I've been on the pill for four years and I can't remember getting them. Maybe I didn't know what to look for. I do remember I'd always get EWCM though. Does the EWCM happen before ovulation, or is it too late by the time that shows up?

I love all the shows you guys have been talking about! Especially One Born Every Minute. God it's the best. Keeping Up with the Kardashians actually has some really great baby moments, Kourtney is such a cool "mom" and they show the entire birth on camera, pretty amazing. She pulls Mason out with her own bare hands, I totally cried! (this is the last episode of Season 4)

I really enjoyed watching all the episodes where she is pregnant because she is so frank and honest about what she needs and what she has to do for her body/her baby and she doesn't take any sh*t from anyone!

Season 4 she has baby Mason, Season 7 she has Penelope. Towards the end of season 7 she is looking into her birthing options and they show a home/water birth and a few other things. It's really good.

Nomie hope you are all okay down there in Tassie!! Thinking of you.

Glad to hear you girls in Tassie are ok despite the huge losses. My mum is down there too but thankfully there's nothing too close, just very smokey where she is. She had the same plan, just to go and stand in the water at the bottom of her street if anything did get too close. Hope everything settles for you, friends and family now and that no more fires start up again xx

I've missed so much now there are so many of us on this thread! Welcome to all the newbies

Hit the gym twice this weekend and feeling righteous! Getting some good food on board after the holidays and finally feeling on top of my ttc journey!
Hope you're all well, happy bding

Hey Disney, I didn't bawl my eyes out when DD was born but I did shed a few tears (so did DH!). Think it was a mix of joy, amazement and relief to be honest! I did, however, bawl my eyes out when I came to from anesthetic after my postnatal surgery - I think I was crying before I woke up which was really weird?!?
I do cry now and then when watching OBEM, depending on the family/circumstance of birth I think. I was much more susceptible to a cry watching the show in the 6-12 months after DD was born, maybe because it was fresh and I was full of hormones! My DH thinks I'm a bit odd wanting to watch it but I still love it!

    Hey all

Hope all of you who are down in Tassie are keeping safe! I can't even begin to imagine what you guys are going through!

I took my boys out to lunch and shopping today, we had NO food in the house because lazy mummy didn't do the groceries yesterday! I can't believe how expensive eating out is these days! Crazy!

Well just a quick one, the in laws have just arrived for dinner!
I'll probably be on later 😊
