Default Is this a positive OPK?

I'm abit clueless with ovulation tests, i've not really used them much over the time we've had conceiving our children but since baby #3 i breastfed for 8 months and my cycles have been 40 days long which is unusual for me, I had the very first period since stopping breastfeeding on the 15th October, yesterday afternoon I started feeling some mild cramping and I have been having some cervical mucous that was sticky/stringy so it had me wondeful if perhaps I was ovulating on time this month. So I decided to pick up an OPK at the shops today (First Response) brand and from the instructions it seems positive to me but just didn't expect to get such a sudden response so dramatically. Can somebody tell me if this is infact a positive or not?

Definitely looks like a positive. With opk's the test line generally should show up darker than the control line to be positive. Good luck

Yep definitely positive- the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control to be positive
