    Default Kitchen colour scheme.

I was always going to do antique white walls, grey benchtops and splash back with white cupboards but now I'm really worried about keeping it clean with young kids.

ETA with a neutral colour scheme you throw in any colour you want for a change. Currently I have my red kitchen aid and kettle adding colour.
Sounds lovely! How do you go with keeping it clean? I'm paranoid ill be scrubbing cupboards all day. Lol

Glass splash backs are much easier to keep clean I've found - no grout!

My kitchen was done on a budget, so white and grey was pretty much the only option we had, we have white doors, light grey laminate bench top, grey tile splashback and silver kickboards.
This is the kitchen I put in, my walls are a light brown/ grey colour though, and at the moment while I'm saving for nicer floors I have lino that is light grey with dark grey accents.

To me, that looks like a little piece of kitchen heaven. I don't go for all of the white white white write white.

Haha so was I! I just wipe the cupboards and tiles down during my weekly clean or sooner if DD wipes her jam covered hands over them haha. I'm a little anal about my house looking spotless and I haven't found any issues with keeping it clean.

I find my parents gloss black kitchen shows more grime etc.

Heres part of our kitchen. I have no problems keeping the cupboards clean, just a wipe. Antique white USA on the walls and an interchangeable sliding cupboard if we get sick if the aqua-ish colour. Also all our appliances are white and the floors now lime washed.

I love both pics you've posted!
