    Default Beds

We have decided to graduate DD from her cot converted toddler bed to her own big girl bed in March for her 2nd birthday.
I'd like to get her a loft bed to save the space in her room, (remembering she's already in the toddler bed and not fallen out etc) just wondering where everyone got theirs? I don't want to spend a fortune, and I prefer white. Has anyone bought one online?
    TIA

loft beds are not recommended for kids under 9...it can be really dangerous if the fall off (not just when sleeping but when they are playing on it). Loads of kids end up with broken bones from falls from bunks.

DS had a loft bed when he was 5 and I got sick of seeing footprints on the roof from where he'd lie down and just rest his feet on the roof
DP cut the legs of the bed down by half and it was awesome. Enough room underneath for toys etc. and not too high for DS to be in.

I dont know if I would trust a 2yr old in those big high bunk beds to be honest, but its your choice The one we had for DS was given to us by a friend but have a look on Gumtree, Im sure there are some on there.

Oh I was more looking at those ones that have only like a trundle type set of drawers underneath that aren't a trundle. So less than a mtr high. Sorry I should have clarified not a proper loft type bed!

Remember a metre high is above the head of most 2 year olds. They can DEFINITELY sustain serious injuries if they fall from them. As previously mentioned bunk beds & loft beds are not recommended under the age of 9. There's probably no rush to get her out of her toddler bed as most 2yo's well & truly fit in toddler beds. My nephew was in his til well after the age of 5!

Don't buy through bedsonline what ever you do! We are having big issues with our bed we ordered back in november. It was just dumped at our door (in 3 separate deliveries) and part of it doesn't fit together properly. If you do go with an online store have a look at the company on product review because we have been caught out twice buying things and then read the poor reviews afterwards.
