    Good grab! Where was that?
    And, I've bookmarked Mumgo! Thanks.

Groceryrun.com they have heaps of bargins and I think delivery is only $10 so it's best to order a few things. I usually go on once a month and order a whole heap of house hold products like paper towels washing powder etc.

So I paid $10 at Big W for a size 0 girls dress on special. Mum seems to think that was expensive? I thought it was cheap for baby clothing? It was for my niece. Haven't bought baby clothes before. :s

I am a massive fan of a good bargain, so I thought I would add my two cents!

When it comes to a pram, research really well. This is one item that I was prepared to spend money on- the other being a quality car seat. In saying that, bigger and more expensive does not always mean better, and don't just buy the popular one because everyone else has it: buy the one that fits your lifestyle, your car and your tastes.

I second grocery run and mumgo for baby essentials on the cheap, they do tend to have some bargains listed.

For baby clothes, I bought most of my clothes from end of season clearance sales. Myer does amazing markdowns at the end of the season. As does Target and Big W. For Sydney first time mums, especially in the southern/south-western area, Target at Bankstown Centro is the Target "clearance store", and items are often $1-$3. My kids were both dressed almost exclusively in clothes from those clearance racks.

Also, don't be afraid of buying things like cots and furniture type items second hand. I was lucky to be given a lovely second hand cot for my babies, however both of my best mates bought lovely cots second hand at a fraction of the retail cost. Boori and Kingparrot cots cost a FORTUNE. I would recommend buying your own mattress though!

Be careful with mumgo etc . Their savings are quite deceptive . It's of the retailers rrp. Which is often quite high compared to normal prices in store.

Have a read of the reviews on pram warehouse on product review before you place an order. I haven't ordered from them online but I know people who have who've had issues.
