Default Have I found a bargain? Bargain hunters thread!

Whether you are looking for a good second hand deal, or if you just enjoy sales at the big branch stores, I thought I could create a thread to share your bargain and get confirmation with other members that it is indeed a bargain before you buy it. Especially helpful for mum and mums-to-be who have no idea what an item should cost, and what is a complete rip off. Saving money is always a good thing!

I've been looking at prams. Not even close to buying one just yet, but I've heard good things about the Strider Plus.

Is $699 a good price for all the items included here : link ?

ETA : Kiplusthree, I wish we had Aldi in Tasmania.

I wouldn't pay $699. The pram, capsule & bassinet can all be purchased new for around $880 (pram warehouse website) I'm not sure if there is a store in TAS but your local baby store may match their prices. Also have you tried EBay? I'm looking to see my strider but I'm in Sydney.

Thanks! I found a compact version of the same pram for even cheaper on Pram Warehouse : link.
At the moment they have $5 shipping on all onlines purchases (exc furniture)!! This applies to bulk items like prams as long as the order is over $200. Temptinngggg.

Yep tell them they're dreaming lol.
Or they figure bub only used it for 3 months so it's still nearly new ( forgetting that once its used it's used).

I find heaps of bargains at Myer when they have 50% or 75% off the already reduces price. I got my bridesmaid dresses this way (less than $30 ea) from well over $200
