Hi MiaMia. I just got pregnant with my first at 39 and will be 40 by delivery. It's all very daunting at this age but so fantastic too. We've been completely blessed by twins so that's super exciting too.
Congratulations! When is your due date?

I'm due 30th July officially but it will be earlier with twins. Keep in touch. I'd love to chat to another 'older mum' as a lot of things go through my mind about how this will be.

    Hi MiaMia
    Hi there again Nat.
I'm 40 pregnant with my first as well. Today I had a scan and was told I'm about 5.5-6 weeks and due August 24th. It certainly is daunting and would be great to chat to others the same age.

Hi again ladies. Shall we start a new thread in another spot? I'd love to keep in touch with ladies my age as I feel that we have different things going on and probably some different concerns. I know there are threads for over 40 mums but one for those of us on our first would be good.

Hi ladies, sure thing, I'm not sure how to move the thread to another section but certainly keen to keep in touch. Nat do you know how to move it?
l'm based in Sydney (though currently on the tail end if a 5 week overseas trip - actually really looking forward to getting home now & praying morning sickness doesn't hit before I get back - I am 5 weeks along and leave in one week so could be close!). Where are you guys?

birth is tiring ... Baby is tiring but oh my .... It is worth it all!!
40 year old mums are the best if you ask me
we love them that extra bit.
