Misstrouble my should is very organised. He is dreading it as he feels he is the issue. I said it could be both of us but we need a starting point. I have had blood tests done and told him my next step will be internal exams and I am not going to go through that when all he has to do is spend a few minutes in private with a cup! He says yeah I know, will book in etc. I think his other issue is is that he is in the medical field and feels his results will be posted on some journal for all to see. I doubt he thinks like that but who knows.

Gizmo yay for having a cycle buddy I also had a glass of red last night.

Missusmac what a horrible thing for a fs to say, you would think they would have some empathy.

It sounds like you're doing everything you can to support him. If only the guys looked on here to see how normal it is. Fx you get some answers soon.

Mental note to self - don't drink too much wine if you're not used to drinking. Am *completely* hungover after 3 glasses...wtf?!? Must be getting old. Sigh!

    Yay for Gastrolyte

Will catch up on news later after I'm done feeling sorry for myself

Three cheers for Gastrolyte and shopping centres with AC!

MM - That FS sounds like a *complete* idiot. It makes you wonder why he's decided to be a FS when he doesn't seem to want to help. Sorry you had to experience that!

Waiting - You're a cracker! Was laughing my head off when I read your admission fee post. Perfectly put!

Tormy - that is ace news...*really* glad to hear it

Afm - have to say that as much as I hate prog pessaries (messy business) this is the first normal period I've had since I gave birth 2 years ago. Has been super super light and completely painfree since the emergency caeser. Weird for me. Made me wonder if I could sustain a pregnancy tbh. My FS was very dismissive about it so am kinda thrilled he went on holidays and his stand in prescribed progesterone.

Would never have thought that I'd be this happy about getting a heavy, painful period again. Go figure!!

Btw, will be on the look out for OBEM...never seen that show before!

Oh gizmo you're missing out!! 9.30 Thursdays on sbs.

I've had the worst luck with baby-related doctors. Had to see my OBs stand in when I had first trimester bleeding. He was rude, condescending and just plain mean! He make comments like '*rolls eyes* it's obvious you're a first time mum' and as I was leaving his office and stepping into a crowded waiting room 'and you'd better prepare yourself. You could very well lose this baby'. I managed to make it to the car before bursting into tears. But I sure showed him, had an uneventful 30 more weeks and had a baby!

Oh and congrats on your painful bleeding... I think? Lol

I saw a thing in fb a few weeks ago. Something like 'instead of a period why doesn't Mother Nature just send us a text saying 'congratulations you're not pregnant'. Or in our case it should be a spunky delivery man with a big bottle of wine, with a note attached 'commiserations, sorry this wasn't your month. Hang in there. Enjoy the wine. Mumma N'.
