No idea. The er dr said to take a photo of the big, red lump and show it to my FS.

She said he might decide to keep giving to me if he thinks the benefits outweigh the discomfort.

All over body rash....noooo, not on your nelly! I will be asking for plan b (which I'm guessing will be IVF) *shrug*

    Totally normal
It sucks but only lasts a couple of hours at the most!

Hi marttc - oooh, this sounds promising ....did your welt actually go away completely after a couple of hours or just go down a bit? Mine has been there for 24 hours now and hasn't changed at all.

I only got localised pain around the injection site the last two times, but this time the pain goes all around my side and back (*very* tender to touch - and lifting 2yo DS is excruciating). Do you experience this too?

I agree. I was very excited to join the testing threads, I really felt like it was *my* month. But when I was getting BFNs and seeing 'omg! We weren't even trying' posts, i got really disheartened.

Those are hard. I find those very difficult to read. That's why I stay in the long term ttc threads now. Bc we are at a different stage to others ttc. Ones that are filled with so much excitement and hope. For many us it's no longer fun and exciting, it's depressing, hurtful, means huge amounts of money for IVF/EPU etc.So I'm not angry at people in those threads, I just can't be in them anymore and I think that's ok. I didn't want to pull them down either, my FML another BFN posts amongst the omg I'm pg first month posts kind of put a dampener on things lol

Yup, I couldnt handle seeing them anymore. That and the "wow I didnt think it would be this quick!!" - glad for you, but god it stings.

I start jabbing again today!! Im excited to get going again but petrified. I *hate* having to juggle appts/BTs/scans and work, especially as I have no control over it all. Makes me so stressed. Even worse that its so hard to get blood out of me so every BT is an ordeal... First one is next Fri..... arrgh!!!!

And to top it all off, theres issued with the job I started this week, it may not last very long (employers issue, not mine). So I have no idea whats happening till maybe later this week. All I can do is go along for the ride and try to stay as relaxed as possible. Ive finally conceeded I have no control over anything!!!!

I don't have much experience with IVF and all the acynoms but what is IUI?

I see it's your 3rd that must be so stressful and financially draining. You'll be in my thoughts

Thanks. IUI is Intra-Uterine Insemination. When we were trying to get utd with DD, the FS wanted me to do IVF cos my AMH was so low and DHs sperm results were terrible. Once we repeated tests this time, my AMH had improved (??!! I dont get that, Im 4 years older??!) and DHs sperm test was better so she wanted us to do IUI, hoping to avoid IVF. She said 2 cycles then progress to IVF. I got utd on the 2nd round, (then m/c). I want to progress to IVF but because I got utd on the 2nd round she wants me to do at least 1 more cycle (preferably 2)........ Better bl**dy work this time.

Tormy - I sympathise completely. Soooo frustrating! I average 3 nurses each time they have to get blood, and they have to do it through my hands... OUCH. One time they even wrapped me up in hot towels and wheat warmers... then got blood through pricking my finger and "milking me like a cow.." as the nurse said! It was worth it that time though.. got my BFP with DD When I rang this week the nurse said this week she make someone run up and down the stairs so to bring my running shoes.....

It's tuff with work but we have to put ourselves first! 😊

I find drinking a fair bit of water before a BT helps my flow... I still hate them!

    Yay to jabbing! 💉
