Never made them, I was hoping someone else would know!

Probably a tin of chickpeas, some cumin, coriander, chilli, garlic. Onions. Maybe some diced tomatoes? Hmmm...

All of the above but I add butter beans and kidney beans instead of chickpeas. I also add mushroom and zucchini to the mix. If you find it hard to match the spices you can use a taco seasoning.

something with bacon because it's the only meat we have left (broken car and too hot to walk to shops).

ETA- i am thinking corn fritters to go with bacon would be nice. Anyone got a tried and tested recipe. never made them before and the recipes i am googling have comments ranging from 'great, so light and fluffy' to ' dry and tasteless' for the same recipes.

Steak and steamed potatoes, carrot & zucchini! I'll have crumbed chicken breast as I'm not too fond of red meat! I'm also gonna try roasted broccoli with lemon, garlic, olive oil with some parmesan cheese on top!
