    It does. 75 degrees celcius for 2 minutes will kill listeria.

    But on topic, we had beef stroganoff with jasmine rice. Naughty as I've been trying to switch to brown rice, but I can't do it!!

    I thought it kills the listeria but the toxins remain intact. A quick google suggests I'm wrong. Sorry ladies, carry on!

    ... Just realised I'm thinking of salmonella. Whoops.

    i cooked earlier because ive been up all night with insomnia so figured I may as well do something useful. Oven chips (havent cooked them tho), crumbed chicken breasts and vegetables.
    Im not sure there will be much chicken left I keep picking at it, its good!

    Switch to Basmatti rice. its low gi. Not as good a eating brown rice but better than jasmine etc. I like brown rice salads but just can't make the switch for hot meals so I do basmatti rice.

    We are actually having beef stroganoff and rice tonight
