She loves eating at the table with us though and I do like to encourage it to model conversation, table manners etc.
lol i was thinking of using the phone book too

If we're home we eat all meals together at the table. DD has one of those awesome wooden highchairs that converts into a toddler seat and then adult size chair as your toddler grows. She has sat at the table without a tray from about 12 months and at 2 can get herself up and down. Eating together as a family is really important and enjoyable to us

Well we ate at the table as a family tonight and it was lovely. DH agrees with me that we will do it most nights from now on.

Time to start teaching DD some proper table manners. If we dont lead by example we cant expect her to know can we?

Default Where does ur toddler eat?

We eat at his little table in the lounge room, or sometimes at the table and chairs on the back patio. We only eat at the dining table when people are over.

What time do all of your young LO's eat dinner?? My DS is 15.5mths and eats between 5-5.30pm, which is way too early for me to eat!

I do have him in a highchair at the dining table though. I sit with him to hand food over.

We eat at 5.30. Pre-baby I used to laugh when I heard parents talking about having dinner at 5.30. Now I love it and feel so much better for eating early in the evening
