    BigRed - something our "dear ....'s" probably don't get many of whilst ttc as it's a bit of a waste

    Isn't there or a kid on home and away with the name bj?
    I don't think the middle initial is relevant. I know i rarely ever use mine or my kids middle names.

    Nope, I knew lots of people called bj mostly boys! Never actually teased! And a girl called beej for bronte. I like it

    To add to my previous post, I have a very close friend who I went to school with who had those initials (first and middle name). She was teased a lot but never about the initials, primary nor high school.

    It always reminds me of a dreadful tv show I watched as a child "BJ and the Bear". About a truck driver and a monkey. It was awful but I loved it.

    My brothers used to snigger at the initial BJ when we were kids. I probably wouldn't go there myself because of the memories I have of it but I doubt it would be an issue for most.

    I don't think it matters if it's a middle name. I might avoid the initials as a last name but I wouldn't worry too much. I know of a few people with the initials BJ and they've never been teased.
