Default Re: Mazda 2 - will it fit Safe n Sound Meridian?

I have a Mazda 2 '05 model so the original square shape. We made sure the Safe n Sound Merudian fit ok in the back seat rearfacing before we purchased and it was great. Older shape has the advantage where the back seat slides back and forth as well
Cannot say the same for the newer shape Mazda 2s though.

Default Mazda 2 - will it fit Safe n Sound Meridian?

Thanks for all your replies. We are still swaying towards the platinum and are used to lack of space in the front passenger due to the hire capsule.

Our local motoring group sells them for a very good price and they will check it will fit before we buy. They will also install it.

Default Mazda 2 - will it fit Safe n Sound Meridian?

I thought I would finish this thread off - for the next Mazda 2 driver

The SnS Platinum and Meridian were just a tiny bit too big. The front passenger seat was basically unusable and certainly not safe for someone to sit so close to the airbag. In any case, an average adult would have never fit in it.

We ended up getting the brand new 2012 SnS Compaq, it takes up exactly the same amount of space as the hire capsule I had (also a SnS).

Thanks ladies for all of your help and advice!
