    Default Boxing Day food ideas...

So I opened my big mouth time and time again over the lead up to Christmas and have invited every man and his dog to our place for Boxing Day (which I am actually really looking forward to!). So far we have around 20 people plus drop ins throughout the day and evening.

I don't want to cater full meals but I'd like a bit of a spread.

    So far I'm thinking:

    - cold ham
    - trifle
    - pavlova
    - nuts

Would love some ideas for cold meals, easy to prep and easy to pick at.

    TIA

These are great ideas - thanks!

I think a cheese plate with a fruit selection would be super easy and no mess. I've never made devilled eggs but I think I'll give them a go too

We always have people over boxing day and usually do something easy that you can put in the table and they can all make their own- so far we've done:

Tacos - put all the veggies/cheese/sauces in bowls and I stir fry beef , chicken and fish (to cater for everyone!) and they make there own

Burgers - same as above but I make beef and crab burger patties and buy brioche burger buns and they make their own

Kebab wrap - same as above but grill lamb chicken and fish kebabs and get pita bread so they can make their own wraps

I've also done pizza - easy if you make the dough the night before and just have a variety of toppings

Baked chicken wings and ribs are also easy ( just chuck in oven) Plus bruschetta is easy and everyone likes it
