    Default Toilet training toddler seats?

Im not too keen on using a potty so am wanting to buy a toilet seat for our DD in prep for beginning her TT. Shes pretty interested in the toilet and understands thats where poo and wee goes so wanted to try and skip the potty all together.

So which did you find best? The toilet seats like this

Or the padded seat and step like this?

Not sure which one to go with....

    Thanks

    Default Toilet training toddler seats?

I use one with a step! So much easier coz DD1 can get on the toilet by herself! Especially handy while I'm dealing with DD2. We got ours from target! Wasn't expensive!

    Default Toilet training toddler seats?

Yep sorry definitely the top one for Home! I've also got a cheapy from big w that just sits ontop of the toilet - I leave that at my mums house! I think it was $5.

    Default Toilet training toddler seats?

I have the 2nd one ie just the seat. Ds1 is pretty much trained now, he uses the seat if he does a no 2 and just sits on the adult seat for a wee.

    Ok thanks.

What do you do when out and about?

Do you keep a potty in the car for emergencies when there is no toilet nearby?

And what about if ur at the shops or something? One of those fold up padded seats to put on a public loo?

Sorry for all the Q's....first time toilet trainer here lol x

I keep them in nappies when out and about to start with and then as they get better at home, I venture out with them in undies. When it gets to that point, they go to the toilet before we leave home and then again before we start any big shops that we can't run out of lol.

Some parents rooms have an adult toilet and a little one next to it so you wouldn't need to use a seat / step.

    Default Toilet training toddler seats?

We've got the bottom two in the toilet we don't use that often and the Lupi Lu toilet seat in our most often used toilet. My 2yr old uses it and can work both toilet types herself and really has no preference.
