Default How long after Implanon removal?

(sorry i havn't abbreviated,I dont know many that are used as yet)

How long after removal of the Implanon did your body go back to normal? ie; period return.

I had the Implanon rod for 5 mths before my DP and i decided to get it removed and start TTC. we had it removed a week ago. During that 5mths though i never got my period bit i did gain weight and have rediculous mood swings. im hoping my body starts functioning like its supposed to soon.

I was a bit all over the place.. I got my period back within a week, but it was about 4 months before I'd returned to a semi regular (28-30 day) cycle.

    Good luck

I found, with my cycles being so irregular to start, ovulation tests were really handy to help figure things out. Good luck, may your ttc journey be a short one

My period came back pretty quickly. After 4 months it was starting to settle down and I felt ovulation or the first time. After that I pregnant!

    Good luck!!

I had implanon for 1.5 yers and I've been on pill before that since 18 years old (i'm 32 now). I got mine out 21 Nov 2012. I got period 4 Jan 2013 and we started Ttc in Jan. I got second period on on 31 Jan 2013 (exactly 28 days later) and I'm about five weeks pregnant now with our first (i think it was a valentines special, tbc!). So, no problems. Just start taking your folate and iodine ASAP. I started just after I got the Implanon out incase it happened quickly. Good luck!!!!
