I too was devastated when the nurse called with my AMH results. Lynn called me on the following Sunday afternoon (in her own time) to reassure me not to stress about the results. She said she would prefer if we didn't know the numbers as it's just an indication for her to know what protocol to take. She really is a blessing! Consider doing acupuncture as I found it so relaxing and it calmed my nerves which was exactly what I needed.. Sending baby dust your way xx
Thank you JJTiger! I feel a lot better now. Congrats on your successful pregnancy!

My nurse was Corine & she told me following a fresh cycle that I would not ovulate, I explained I was doubtful about that & asked if I could be tested for ovulation anyway & she said "no, you can do ovulation tests at home if you really want" I explained that they seem to give me false readings & bloods seem to be the only accurate way with my body, she still refused bloods & said if I got a positive opk they would only then BT me... So I started peeing on opk & was confused at my readings & called her for bloods thinking I was close, she told me it was too early & arranged for for a few days later (ps: pretty sure I know my body better than her) sure enough the blood test showed I'd ovulated but that we missed it & because I didn't do a blood test earlier we couldn't pin point the actual day, so no transfer could be done! I was so angry but I'm glad I had a months break as the next transfer was this bub I'm pregnant with now 32 weeks tomorrow

Emski- I've been thinking about you. How did you go today? We're you there this morning. The waiting room was packed I was wondering if you were there. If so I was sitting with my hubby in the bright fluro vest. Couldn't miss us. I hope everything was fine and bubs is where is should be.x

Martcc- wow congrats to getting to 32 weeks! I know how you feel about anxiety and stress. Have you had any counselling? I found it has helped me to talk to someone and learn some techniques to help. Wishing you all the best with the last part or your pregnancy xx

Welcome to sue and kellyk- I wish you all the best with seeing Lynn. We too left melb ivf when we felt like our fs was not doing anything to help out situation. He did not want to test me and just blamed DH. Not one test performed on me!!!! Not even a blood test to check my egg reserve, hormone levels nothing!!! Since we moved to monash I've been pregnant both cycles with Lynn. Love her! Seriously! I want to be her BFF lol

AFM- I saw Lynn this morning and had my 7 week scan and all seems good. Now I'm seeing my OB in 2 weeks plus seeing a perinatal specialist today to get a second opinion on how to go about keeping me and bubs healthy and inside till his/her due date. Xx

Thanks everyone for your well wishes.
Yes Riss, we were in there when you were, I think we went in just before you - we were the dour looking couple against the window! I'm glad to hear everything went really well for you!

It's been such a stressful and horrible weekend for us both. I fully expected to get in there and have surgery scheduled or a shot given to miscarry. But Lynn was like 'congratulations!' and I'm thinking - what have we got to celebrate?
We did a scan and thankfully it's not ectopic which is brilliant news and one less hurdle to overcome. The scan showed a sac and yolk and she said 'that may be a flicker of heartbeat I can see, but it could just be your heartbeat... we'll do another scan in a week and see if it has progressed.' She said when betas do what mine have done (only rising 1000 in 7 days) the outcome is probably not going to be good but 'you never know'. So I'm back to limbo land for another 7 days but thankfully of that awful beta roller coaster. I also found it interesting that she told me I was 6 weeks and 4 days today - whereas the nurse said I was 6 weeks and 4 days last Friday - I'm not sure how far along I am at all!

Anyway - once again thank you all for your support.
    Em x

So happy it's not ectopic too Em! I think Lynn needs to update her scanning machines. They are not clear at all. I heard them book two ladies to go downstairs for a rescan. I'm 7 weeks today and I think you were two days behind me so I think the scan was right and not the nurse. Go by when you had your egg pick up as day of ovulation on one of those due date online calculators to find out if you like. I know it's hard not to stress and I hope this week flies for you. I'll be thinking of you and DH. I thought it might have been you but didn't want to seem stalkerish hehe

Jb- thanks so much! How are you going? Yes going back to the OB I had a few months ago. Lynn gave me a few recommendations and I picked the one with lots of good reviews on google

Hi williteverhappen, thanks for the info.. That's so good to here that Lynn comes up with new approaches.. My FS at MIVF only believed in increasing or decreasing the amount of medicine and I never knew that additional drugs can be added to the cycle. It may help my egg quality as well.. All the best for your cycle" how long does it take for Lynn to start the cycle once you see her first time
