Well I've decided my body is really playing mind games with me and I wish it'd just stop! My period was due yesterday and as yet, hasn't made an appearance. I'm 99.9% sure I'm not pregnant because I did a test on Friday morning and there wasn't a second line in sight. I was supposed to see Charlotte today and pick up new meds because I was sure I'd have my period by now, but I put it off because I didn't want to go all the way in to Richmond for a blood test and then have to go back in later in the week to pick up meds.
I know I could do a FR pregnancy test, but I don't want to waste the money when I know it'll be a BFN. I have cramps and lower back pain, so all the signs that my period is due, but no sign of it yet. I've always been a 25 day cycle girl, but I'm now up to Day 27, so not sure what's happening. Maybe it's the meds I was on??? if it's going to arrive, just wish it'd hurry up so I can get on with a new cycle.

The progesterone has to leave your body first before you can have a period. It's nice to dream though.

But if I'm still using Crinone every night, how am I ever going to get my period? Charlotte never mentioned anything about that today. So, presumably I have a blood test tomorrow and if I'm not pregnant, I stop the Crinone and will then get my period??? Seems strange that Charlotte wouldn't have mentioned the Crinone being the culprit for a delayed period. Mmm

Yes that is right. When they ring with a negative she will tell you which drugs to stop and which ones to wean (predisolone).

Ok, thanks Lilypily. I'm not on Prednisolone. I just Googled and found that lots of girls said that Crinone didn't delay their period, but I'm obviously not one of those girls. Just want to get it and then start another cycle and get on with things. Very frustrating. Wish Charlotte had told me this.

Your period will come very quick ( 2-3 days) after stopping the drugs.

Good luck with blood test today- yes drugs can keep AF at bay. That never happened with me even with heaps of progesterone support.

Lots and lots of luck with this next cycle. May it be the one! Xxx
