Hi ladies, just popping in to ask you to keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow morning as I head in for my scan and blood test to see how many follicles I have growing. Had my Elonva shot on Friday and then have been having Orgalutran and Puregon injections since Monday, so fingers crossed they've done some good . Will update you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, just wanted to let you know how I went with my scan this morning. I have two follicles, measuring 16mm and 13mm, in the right ovary, and three follicles in the left ovary. One of them measures 9mm and the other two are under 5mm, so not viable. So...the plan is that I will continue with the meds until I have another scan on Monday morning. Because there are only three follicles, the cycle will be cancelled, but I'll still have the Ovidrel Trigger (probably on Tuesday), and then we'll have timed intercourse and see what happens. That should be interesting in itself as my husband has a broken rib from a recent fall and is in agony!!! Whilst I'm a bit disappointed that there aren't more follicles, I'm pleased that I have at least one more than what I did last cycle when I was with the other FS. I'd like to think that maybe the DHEA, Melatonin and Trisequens are all making a difference, and that if we don't end up conceiving this month, then maybe next month I'll have even more follicles. I know at my age, I'm never going to get heaps, but at least half a dozen would be good. I'm ok with the cycle being cancelled because I wouldn't want to throw all our money into an OPU when there are only three follicles, especially when we can only afford to do one more full cycle. So, I'd rather try naturally when there are only three follies in there, and then hopefully next month there'll be more and then we can spend the big money on a full cycle. Hope all that makes sense

Hi ladies, quick update from today's scan and blood test. My three follicles have grown from 16 to 22mm, 13 to 18mm and 9 to 15mm, so looking good. E2 is 2200, but LH is 18.4 which Charlotte said was a bit high, but she's not worrying because we've cancelled the cycle and will just do timed intercourse. She said the concern would be if they were going to do an OPU. So...I'll take the two Ovidrel injections tonight and then we'll get busy on Tues, Wed and Thurs nights! Have to start having Crinone pessaries from Thursday night, but not the three Pregnyl injections as I was told initially. I'm pleased about this because if by some miracle I do start getting some pregnancy symptoms, I'll know they're not coming from the Pregnyl. Charlotte said I can also do a pregnancy test before I go in for the blood test and that if it's positive, that's a good sign rather than a false positive. Blood test will be on the 4th July, but as I have a 25 day cycle, I'll know if it's a BFP well and truly before then I'd say. Fingers crossed for success. Hope you're all well. It's been very quiet in this thread over the weekend.

    Good luck, Siansmum!

    Lilypily, how are you doing?

AFM, had a couple of scans, one early one due to a bleed, but all good now. Both of our embies took, though one is falling behind. Lynn said it looks like a vanishing twin syndrome. So the twin that is smaller will start falling behind even more in the coming weeks and hopefully be absorbed by my body. On a positive side we have one healthy bubba in the oven and we are thrilled for that.
