Hi All, Hope you don't mind if I join in. I have just made my first appointment with Lynn and that's not until August the 21st. After reading this thread yesterday, I did request to go on the waiting list too. I'm very excited and scared at the same time. I'm not sure what to expect on the first appointment so if anyone can enlighten me with some info, it would muchly be appreciated. We have no idea what our issues will be.

Congratulations to those of you that have had success so far with Lynn and for the rest of us, it will be our turn soon.

Hi secondtime... welcome to the thread.
I guess everyones circumstances are different when they go to see her - but she seems very thorough to me from my first appointment. A little rushed - but you get the feeling she knows what needs doing and she is covering all the bases, which is what I wanted in a FS. I don't really need someone to hold my hand or sugar coat things.
I'm 41 and have never been pregnant despite trying for 2 years so she has sent me for every blood test imaginable as I don't have time to muck around at my age. I had 13 vials of blood taken yesterday . She also told me to lose weight - and oddly she is the FS to do so all the others have pussyfooted around it, so I respected her even more.
She is very to the point - and fast talking - so maybe write down your questions before you go in so you can refer to them.
    Em x

Definitely no pussyfooting around with Lynn! I found the appointments quick also and sometimes she changed her plan with treatment when I wasn't expecting it but all worked in the end.

Congratulations Lena! Awesome news... Can't wait to read how your journey progresses.

I have a melatonin question... I'm about to start my 2nd Ivf cycle, this time down reg, I start synarel on 10/6 so thought I'd try melatonin as its about 4wks til collection. I'm not seeing Lynne yet (I'm booked in got July 26th if this cycle is a big fat fail!) I have bioglan melatonin (homoeopathic) and it says contains: Melatonin 6x... I have no idea how many mg that translates to... It says take 1-3 or 3-5 for sleep aid. Any advice??

jb the melatonin you have is homeopathic grade so not strong at all, I had the same one before I got to my appointment with Lynn... Melatonin is prescription only in Aus. I was taking the full 3 tabs a day if the homeopathic one and didn't notice a thing, when I had one of the prescription ones I was asleep within and hour.
