    Hey Marttc,

I've seen you in the Melbourne chat on BH (never participated in te chat, just stalked),hope this year brings us the babies we want. I'll be curious to see how your appointment will go. I also have (had) mild endo (removed now) and PCO. We seem to be similar with the infertility causes and in that I also average around 20 follicles (on 300 Gonal F) and I got 8 follicles on 112.5 Gonal F. My first specialist claimed we were unsuccessful because the embryos weren't chromosomally normal, which he was right, just that there's ways to improve that.

My second specialist was a bit more proactive, nicer to deal with, listened a bit more and tried different protocols, did a lot more diagnostic tests, however, despite figuring out I have bed eggs (which he declared mid 2nd cycle with him when he was thinking out loud what trigger to give me to improve egg quality), he hasn't suggested anything being done to improve that. So I did 2 more stim cycles and still no BFP. All up I've done 6 stim cycles, 3 of which were PGD ones and if I haven't done the PGD testing, I'd still be cycling with the embryos that didn't stand a chance...

FYI, on 300 or 112.5 Gonal I averaged 4 blastocycts, but only one of these generally grew at a desired rate, all other arrested on or after day 5. From 3 PGD cycles, the "good" embryo was genetically normal twice and not the third tome....

It does seem that more Gonal scrambles my eggs, but then we tried a low stim protocol, that also hasn't resulted in pregnancy, so I don't know what's going on. I hope Lynn will be able to shed some light.

Let me know how you go.

    Good luck!

Wow - you've been through so much & I hate to think of the money you have spent too! Although I know we would all give anything to have a baby / a family!

14 days till I see her & we are hoping to start the stim cycle this month too but my AF is due either a little before or after my appointment, hoping for a little later this month as otherwise we'll miss it & have to wait another month! Ill get on & update you once I've seen her again!

Lynn is very proactive. She did more with us than the Dr we had a MIVF. Unfortunately for me though she did not get us over the line. We had to stop due to finances but I would have gone back to her. She has had some great success and I went to her believing that if anyone was going to get that baby in my arms it would be her, it was a huge blow when it didn't work out. I still think she is a great Dr even though it didn't work for us. I hope that she has success with all of you. Best of luck.

I saw Lynn for PCOS and she is brilliant! Her bedside manner can be a bit clinical but she is honest and upfront. She obviously has experience in so many areas of infertility it is really refreshing to meet with her.

I would recommend her to anyone requiring help and would definately go back should I need to.

    Hi Little Feet,

I'm sorry to hear that your journey was over. I assume LOR and egg quality might have been your issue? Have you tried anything else apart DHEA before cycling with Lynn? I've read one of the books Beta suggested and will go on a 3 month regime before cycling to try and improve my egg quality. I will also go and see naturopath and basically throw everything in plus whatever Lynn will suggest. I so want this to work...
