About $50/hr before tax, ~$33/hr after tax (I have a FEE-HELP debt for the uni course I'm doing). I work for the Government (in a management role).

Wow dh & I are on tiny wages!

Dh earns $19 hr as a mechanic (qualified) and mine varies as I work freelance but generally only take home around $150-200 per week as it depends when I get bookings

Am at work, so I just checked my payroll and did the maths:

I earn around $41/h, NSW public servant.
DH earns salary, but I would estimate it at around 75/h ish, IT systems engineer.

$35 p/hour as a research assistant is my regular job and $45-$100 when I do free lance editing work, plus bonuses. I'll cry if I think about my HECS debt.
