Mine is a pretty low hourly rate but I don't expect more as I work for a not for profit business. They treat me well, although it's just too boring and I can't do it for much longer and I am overqualified and going out of my mind. I do get regular RDOs, phone/calls provided, massive bonus at the end of the year, 5% payrise per year and extra super, among other perks. Admin.

I get $20p/hr, that I work.... It varies so much as some days I work 8.30am -9pm or later if im fully booked, or only a couple hrs per day if I'm not booked up... I'm self employed, and chose that rate for myself, which is average for my industry (I'm a beauty therapist)

That sounds very low considering you'd get no holiday pay, super, etc

It depends? In federal government, for a permanent job you just apply through a selection criteria process and are interviewed by a panel and ranked.

If you are serious - go to a professional resume writer - they will write selection criteria for you too
