I would never get cranky at him because he has gas like my 7 month old does...

Oh I didn't think you were being rude. Was just disagreeing with your post Hhmm well an itch in the groin area is another I don't want to see to be honest. I don't want to see my DH rearrange his nuts just like he doesn't want to see me scratch my bits but that's just us. We're mindful of those things with each other.

I get that one needs to fart upon waking but DH either waits till I get up (I leave for work first) or on a weekend he goes to the toilet to do it and while he's there he pees too. I forgive the ones that escape whilst sleeping

It actually grosses me out so my DH leaves the room. Like most other things we discuss on this site, it's a respect thing. It makes me feel sick, so he tries not to do t in front of me. It doesn't mean that we aren't comfortable with each other or uptight about bodily functions.

It's a fart :what: its not like he's pooping on you it farting on you, its gas related to food consumption.
Yes it makes me feel sick. No one can say that it doesn't. So he respects that. End of.

It's curious to see so many 'fart liberators' coming in to 'save the fart'. I seriously don't care what other people do in their own homes with their own gas, they can fart the whole place down for all I care but I don't really see why you would want to try and shame someone else into enjoying it too? Leave well enough alone I say, fart unto others as you would have them fart unto you... or something.

Well for your sake lets hope that one day he forces too hard and poops himself. Im sure itd never happen again if he did that!

    Nope. Most are children!

Seriously though, farting is totally fine in our house. Loud is also fine. Its when DF doesnt really disgusting smelling ones that makes me furious. Because he knows they are terrible and he deliberately does them in small areas or where he knows I will cop it straight away. Like in bed hell lift the covers up so it shoots straight up into my face, or hell do it when we are in the shower together and stand there with an evil smile on his face or he deliberately places the fan in our loungeroom next to his chair so that the smell is taken from him to me. Thats what really pees me off, and especially more because I dont do smelly ones so can never pay him back!

OMG i never thought about doing a thread about it.

DH is disgusting he farts ALL THE TIME. I hate it. I get that they are normal and natural but they are massively loud and they stink. He gets in trouble if he farts in the kitchen while i'm cooking/making food or in bed if he knows he's been doing stinky ones all day.

I hate hate hate it but he doesn't see an issue and we do fight about it

Our daughter bucks this trend a little and I'm not sure why, she finds it pretty hilarious though. Hubby is mortified! Haha
This is pretty much the same as us.

Natural or not, I find it horrid. Taking a cr@p is also natural & we don't do that in front of each other either.
