In our houses farts are fine but not in front of grandparents etc. Gosh if this is all you worry about in life as another lady posted here last week really worried about her husbands lack of respect regarding porn and its excessive use. Now that is a serious problem farts are a natural part of the bodies function.

I don't find them all that amusing and would rather DH go elsewhere (ie: bathroom or outside) when he feels the need but he doesnt agree

If anyone in this house held them in.... I would faint in shock. I would also be grateful!
Now leaving the door open after going to the toilet annoys the chap out of me.... It's usually once a day I'm screaming close the dam door! Must install a spring.

Uhm how about going to the bathroom to fart? Is it really necessary to wake your partner up with a fart? It's disrespectful to say the least!

We all do pop offs in this house... Totally get that it's *generally* a natural bodily function, but there is still a time and place!!!

Comparing apples with rockmelons. An itch is hardly anywhere close to a fart for goodness sake! I don't know what kind of man you live with but if my DH greeted me with a fart each morning in bed I'd be really cheesed off. We know the other farts, I just don't see why it has to be done as a wake up call! Ugghhhh!

I didn't mean to be rude... I was thinking an itch inside of the upper leg area, not just anywhere. I live with a hard working family man who puts everyone else first. Yes he farts first thing in the morning but its not like he stains the sheets ....
I would never get cranky at him because he has gas like my 7 month old does...
