MIL is the worst she lets them rip in front of us and acts like nothing happened. The first time it happened I wanted to laugh but nobody said a word I couldnt believe it.

My mil totally does this!! She has had bowel issues in the past though do I kind of give her a free fart pass. But one day at the botanic gardens she was tooting away like a trumpet as I walked along behind her and I was practically wetting myself with laughter but trying to remain composed. I'm just hoping she doesn't do it in front of DD because DD is always on fart watch, any noise remotely like a fart and she boldly announces it at the top of her voice. I'm trying to discourage her but my immaturity makes me giggle and all is lost!

    I hear ya OP.

My DH and I don't pass wind in front of each other (or other people). It's (mostly) a perfectly controllable bodily function. We do it in the loo or while we're by ourself. Recently my DH DID on two occasions and I asked him please not to, I don't want to start letting stuff like that go just because we've been married a few years!

Hubby was just feeding bub in the highchair and I was explaining my desired rules around bub eating with a spoon v fingers. I explained I wanted bub to develop manners when eating. Hubby said "OK", farted then continued feeding bub.

About 3 weeks after I met my DH and the very first time I stayed the night with DH, in the morning I woke up to him grinning at me like a Cheshire cat, I said what are you grinning so crazy about and he says 'you farted really loudly in your sleep last night', Bahahaha, I was mortified but he thought it was 'too funny'. We don't actually fart much at all but if we do we bust up laughing. Couldn't care less if he did fart all the time, my ex did and we just used to make a joke about it.

He can fart, burp all he wants. But if he ever spits from the window of the car again while we're driving I'll cut his big toes off in his sleep.

Hehe we both fart in front of each other. Crack up when they are absolute rippers!!

The only time I don't allow farts is during sex or foreplay... now that would be gross!!!
