    Isn't it funny how we all have such different tastes. Greenhorn, I could never imagine feeling 'comfy' in any of those houses, if my husband was away I would be so frightened in such a wide open space

    I like the Queensland ones but those WA ones are so garish they almost hurt my eyes!

    Same! I like period style homes, not the modern 'box' styles, they have no character.

    Tastes differ, I personally hate character and would feel extremely suffocated living in a period home

    A period style in Melbourne would be my worst nightmare
