As far as I know, you can't. The Aldi pods are much wider and not as high as the nespresso ones. I know because I bought some of the Aldi ones after someone told me they'd fit my nespresso machine and they didn't even come close lol.

    ETA:
Oops, just realised you said you bought the Aldi machine and wanted to know if the nespresso pods fit, not the other way around! I actually don't know, so ignore me *chuckle*. I just know that the Aldi pods won't fit nespresso machines.

I have the nespresso piccolini and find it gross, milk tastes so powdered etc.

I then got a more expensive one but it's too complicated to bother using - have to froth the milk etc. can't win.

Subbing, I'm on the hunt for a coffee machine too.

We have the woolies machine at work, easy to use but the coffee isn't the smoothest prob cos I'm so used to zarraffas. Gloria jeans is a very strong coffee too.

However our milk frother has developed a hot spot and the milk sticks in that spot and it is really hard to clean off. I'm planning on seeing about getting it fixed after Xmas as it has 3 years warranty on it, but haven't done it yet because we don't want to have to go without our machine whilst its being fixed. We use it multiple times everyday.
I can't drink instant anymore, my nespresso has ruined it for me and turned me into a coffee snob lol.
Just a tip with the nespresso frother. It's a common problem and eventually your element will die if the milk continues to burn on the base. We had it happen and nespresso replaced ours for half price. The tip they gave us is only ever wash out the frother with cold water and soft paper towel, never hot water. If its a warm day, rinse it with very cold water to cool down the frother first and only ever use cold milk in it. Since getting these tips from nespresso we haven't had any more trouble with hot spots here or at my work

As for the coffee, I tried all of them before buying and couldn't beat the taste of nespresso coffee. It's always going to be personal preference but I'd suggest that to anyone looking to get a machine, try the coffee first My Mum got an espressi from aldi and was disappointed with the taste.

I have a Nespresso machine and love it. I just got mum the Kmart one that is compatible with the Nespresso pods and it works great. And it was on sale for $29!!!!!! If you are not sure whether you want to spend the money on a pod machine the Kmart O'Neil the way to go - even if you end up using it for a couple of months and then upgrade its a bargain
