I am hoping for a girl first. My dad has three grandsons already. I'm next in line to have kids and I know he would secretly love a granddaughter. I've already got a girls name picked out that DF loves as well. But we can't agree on a boys name.

Also wanted to share this because it is very clever!

Those of you who are planning to sway, what will you be doing?
There's like 7 things you can do to sway. Personally, I'm going to do timing, and pH (acidity of CM) and maybe supplements. For a girl, you are supposed to either DTD daily or every 2 days up until 3-4 days before O, or if you know exactly when you o, at o+12 hrs after abstaining for a week. Vaginal pH is supposed to be acidic, eg 4-4.5 pH. This can be achieved through diet or using a internal environment stabiliser like aci-jel. You're supposed to take magnesium and calcium as they make you more acidic. Then there's hot baths for the bloke and missionary positioning and no climax for you :/

At this stage we will be 'rolling the dice' and giving it one opportunity in February, and if that doesnt take hold, waiting 12 months it try again. All of a sudden the DP is consumed with financial dread

Mare- I didn't know you could do all those things to make a girl Wow! Lol financial dread! I think there is some level of importance to be in a good place financially before bringing a child into the world. Good luck with your dice roll I hope it ends up positive!

I wouldn't have the patience or dedication to try and sway for a girl. Before I went on the pill my periods were all over the place. I think its because I was underweight but now I'm in a normal BMI so I'm hoping when I come off the pill I'll have a regular cycle. If I don't I'm not going to either bother trying to sway because you need to know the exact day you ovulate. A bit hard when your cycles are different lengths each month.

And I totally understand the financial dread. After buying all the baby bits and pieces I want to have a good chunk of savings before the birth. I hate thinking about living on only one wage. Freaks me out.

I've think I have money sorted. Dp earns pretty good money and I wanna try have at least 8 months off when bubba is born. Ill get the 18 weeks paid maternity leave and have at least 10 weeks annual leave owing if not more so this should at least take me to 7 months so I should be able to handle 1 month on one wages with our savings....

Ok, this is going to be a long one, I am ready to catch up!!!!!

    Welcome futuremama

Coming of the pill I noticed a massive increase in my sex drive mainly around o time. I also noticed that DH was much more interested in dtd during the same time. so crazy how the body naturally works.
during the rest of the month it is pretty much normal.

I dont really care what month I have a baby, I would probably prefer to not have a Dec baby, but really don't care. I hope so much that I will have a Sept or Oct baby (therefore being utd this or next month) Definitely will not be putting off getting pregnant though to avoid a certain month.

Damn, in laws just turned up!!!! they are staying tonight for Chrissy day tomorrow. I'm all prepared for 2 families and 2 meals tomorrow with a majorly overflowing Christmas tree (overflowing with presents) will have to do the big catch up probably boxing day.

    HAVE AN AMAZING CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
