I'm being lazy, laying in bed watching the downpour of rain, listening to the thunder and lightning!

35w and I feel huge (although everyone says I'm so small - even had a lady - random - ask me if I was having a girl because my belly is small and bum is big! How rude!) counting down to my c section now... 3 weeks to go!
I wish it wasn't 36 today and I could go for a walk! I think you are right it's too slow.

If you can manage just pace your hallway. Hope it's all over quickly for you
Absolutely, everyone I know who has birthed naturally swears by keeping active - must be the downward pressure on the cervix (ie bubs head!) that helps dilate. Makes me a bit sad that I'll never experience 2nd stage labour or a natural birth! :-(

Maybe some squats might help things along?! Apparently a long first stage labour can be a good thing? Just make sure you do get some rest if you can when you need it!! You'll have to tell us all about it (if you don't mind) I have to live vicariously!! Lol

Great pic meshell - good luck beta and bean.

Had a scan this afternoon, bubs is all good and at 2.4kgs. Only disappointing thing is that his or her right kidney is still dilated heaps and getting worse although it is still functioning. The dr that did the scan said not to worry as there is nothing we can do about it now but bubs will def need treatment after birth and dilation will be treated with either antibiotics or an operation. Even though everything else is perfect I'm still upset about it. Look forward to getting more detail from the OB next week. Just want my little bubba in my arms and all healthy. I'm sure everything will be fine it's just another hiccup we will get over for sure just needed a rant!!
