Congratulations kel! I love the name also.

thanks to all those that responded about induction. I feel better now about it. My ob doesn't believe in birth plans he said we just to to manage what comes our way. I'm demfinately having an epidural. I have a low threshold for pain and have no interest in going through pain I don't have to.

Anyway hope everyone had a good Christmas and have a great new year!

Congtates kel, what a lovely healthy size relax and enjoy your little princess.

All the best rain, what a great day to bring your precious bundle into the world. Girls don't forget to get a news paper. Its a great keepsake to look back on what was happening the day your bub was born.

Have a great day everyone else. This will be day 3 of 8 of our big travel days from Melbourne to Cairns. Mesh my ankles arr not liking it either.

Congrats Kel! Wow - big bub alright, hope your recovery is quick.

Good luck today Rain, can't wait to hear the news.

I had a birth plan with DD1 - not bothering this time, but that's only because I am having a c section, so really not much room for movement. I will be having a mild relaxant prior to my spinal though (because I am worried about that bit - at least this time it's a spinal not an epi)... I HATED the epi as the catheter stays in your back, whereas the spinal is a once off injection - like a local.

My OB never did an internal prior to labour first time around. I think that you can be dilated a few cms for literally weeks before actual labour starts and if discovered (because of discomfort or irregular contractions) this can lead to cascade of unnecessary interventions (not in all cases of course!)

I am on my phone, but if someone is updating the roll call, can you please put my date in for 25th January? 27 days and counting...!

    Have a great day ladies!
