Adden- she is such a cutie! You should be very proud!

Thank goodness all the new mums are still posting in here, I would have had no idea about the whole powder and sticky boy parts and panicked! It's so great reading how you are all going and what you are experiencing.

Mesch - can I ask (hopefully without offending anyone) which option you went with for circumcision for Mason? Was it under a general or the ring option? That one freaks me out a bit but we are also considering circumcision if bubs is a boy so would be keen to hear about how you went.

Wow KM! The 21st! I found out yesterday if bubs doesn't make an appearance on ta own accord, I will be induced on the 18th so we are so close together!! Do you need to continue with the insulin or blood levels monitoring after your little girl arrives r just the diet part until the 6 week GTT?

Has anyone else had an internal cervix examination? I did yesterday and it was a lt more uncomfortable that I'd anticipated!!

Hope everyone else is going well and patienty counting down te last few weeks/days!! These babies will be here before we know it I think!

I did think you were having yours the other day SL when I was on and saw you hasnt posted for a bit LOl
Lol I wish!!! I had a cervix examination on Wednesday...actually I had two...one from my OB and then one from his medical student!!! Very uncomfortable and cervix still shut up tight!!

The days in hospital have gone fast, one week today but I'm really starting to miss my husband and my fur babies. I know I have to last another 3 weeks here so i need a bag of concrete at the moment but I'm sure there will be tears soon.

Crafty we will probably have our babies at the same time in the same ward! I'm sure you will be very busy with bubs but if you want to find me I'm not going home until at least the 25th Feb.

Question what's with the internals? I never had any with ds till I was in labour and haven't had any yet this time either. Is there a reason for doing them?

I had one a couple of weeks ago so that the OB could do the swab for the strep test and then I had one last week as he couldn't feel the head properly externally at first

I had contractions last night!! For about 2 hours, they where 10 mins apart... Then they stopped, I was lying there calculating times trying to work out how serious it was and whether I needed to ring DH and get a flight home...

Wow exciting and scary since dh isn't home yet. I downloaded an app to keep track of contractions. Don't know if you have but I will be hopeless keeping track. Hopefully they hold off again till dh is back.

I had to do my own strep test maybe they might do another one for you that might get things going. Try not to over do it, you don't want to have to start the marathon that is labour exhausted, with all the exercise your doing.
