I will miss carrying my baby as well. But it's nearly time to meet her and move onto better things, I can't wait to see her little face and see her dad holding her, and to see her first smile. I think I already know her little personality.

I have fetal monitoring everyday in hospital and the last two days I have had the same midwife. The midwife keeps telling me this little baby is way too active and she suggested I need to start rubbing her before she is born to calm her down a little so she will settle and sleep at night! I'm in for trouble!

On another note, my C/S has been pushed back to 37 weeks again. Not sure why better for bubs but means more time in hospital.

Sorry not writing much anymore, generally only have time to read.

Kmvw- 37 weeks is much better for bubs, c-section's don't give babies the same stimulus that they get with a vaginal birth so the extra time really helps, especially with lungs. Eliana was born at 36+6 and had to spend 1 night in special care because of her lungs.

Back to my posting about spd or pelvic instability! I think a few of us had similar problems during pregnancy so thought I'd let you know about it. Was told this week my pelvis is unstable as the relaxin hormone has made things a little too loose!

My main problem I have is at night when I turn over I have terrible pain like my pelvis and pubic area is going to break in half, so I hold my legs together to turn over. It also hurts to sit up or get out of bed, you feel very stiff at night. I also get sore groins and a sore lower back and sciatica, especially after standing or being on my feet all day.

Spd should be picked up early, and the reason I'm telling you this is because being in labour on your back with your legs up in stirrups wide apart can cause permanent damage.

A second pregnancy you can get spd worse, so good to get a check up if you suspect you have spd with a physio who specialises in pregnancy
