    Wow!! How exciting!!!!

Meshell - gd is a reason babies can be early. I know ivf is a higher reason for gd.. So that would be why as well!

I'm going early cause of my last pregnancy, and 37/38 weeks is full term but safer to be out than in - apparently!

The thing with IVF stats is it also has to do with age (sorry don't want to offend anyone) but IVF Mum's are generally older & risks increase with age of Mum, not necessarily IVF.

I think it's great that your doc is taking so much care because of your journey.

Meshell I thought I would go early too because ive had heaps of braxton hicks over the last 14 weeks but now not so sure lol. My lil girl I think is sitting really high up like I'm bulging directly under the breast but she rarely kicks me under the rib and all my appointments they say oh she is very happy and content in there but don't get her wanting to stay in there. I don't know lol.,... I thought that the appointments got closer together now but I had my last one at 33 weeks and my next one isn't till I'm 36 and then at 38 :s i also would love to find out how big the baby is predicted to be, how do you do that?

They usually make OB appts 2-3 weeks apart from 28 - 36 weeks, (depending on availability etc) then weekly from 36w...

I had a scan at 32w to check placenta and the estimate weight of my LO was 1.8kg then... Apparently they put on 300g per week from there abouts on... So based on that "estimate" I'll have a 3.6kg bub at c section 38w (600g bigger than my first) and by the looks of me right now, I wouldn't be surprised if she was bigger!!

I have been measuring heaps ahead, in fundal height (not that it means too much I guess) so will be interesting to see what the OB says today!

    Good luck tomorrow Jaebyrd!

Ladies - may I ask why everyone is going before their due dates?
I know raina they had to get bub out due to infection
Greb had lots of amniotic fluid and was hospitalised.

When I had last hospital appointment I asked doctor do IVF babies normally come early late on time and he believes they are normally early due to medically staff needed to intervene for various reasons and they dont like to take risks due to effort involved in getting preg due to IVf.

I still think I am going to go early just not sure when or why but its a feeling I have
I have the same feeling meshell I reckon bubs will come at the end of jan even though due date note until feb 19
