Waiting.... your avatar is so me at the moment!
I bought the cutest little baby clothes the other day - hope I haven't jinxed myself!
Chucks guys! Thanks so much
I am always happy to answer any questions I can; which is why I have been so reluctant to leave this Thread. You are people I care about, and I want you to receive the most informed answers, and not "Dr Google"!
But it's lovely to be appreciated
I feel the same as you waiting, next time I see two lines I don't even know if ill feel happy as I'm just expecting the worst
On a good note, just got a text, our friends just had their second baby, they named him Will. I am so happy for them
Channy - your GP can give you a referral for one. The naturopath I saw today gave me one for DH since I couldn't get in to see my GP until next week as she's on holidays. She said to wrap it in foil and take it to the lab within an hour. Carry it between your legs (while driving) and under your arm to keep it warm. It's best to take it directly to the main lab if you can instead of a satellite one because after an hour they start dying.
Button - hope the FS can get you some answers
Sevven - congrats on your BFP!!
Mumsical - Your little man is adorable!! I hope the move isn't too hard and hubby recovers quickly. On the bright side, you can put things where you want them and he can't!
Rainbow - good luck!! I also get scared to test. You know you're TTC when the thought of one pink line is the scariest thing in the world!
MrsLA - I'm with no, I would have no idea what it would feel like to have 2 lines because I'm always convinced it will only be 1. Ever.
Mumofprincess - I know how you feel. Yesterday and every CD1 I feel like giving up and I haven't had near the heart wrenching experiences some have had! When I get that way there isn't anything anyone can say to cheer me up so here are some hugs and I hope tomorrow you feel a bit better.
J - I also hate Dr Google. I always tell people to be wary about what they read on Google because Google will give you driving directions to China if you ask! But your willingness to help whenever you can is amazing and so reassuring in a time when you feel like nothing is in your control.
MCB - woohoo! Jump on it!
AFM - Just went to the Naturopath. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was really good. She reinforced some of the things I've learned about TTC and sent me with some supplements for my diet and premulan for extending my 11 day LP. She also gave me a referral for an SA for DH. Which is great because I can't get into my GP until next Friday. This way, if something's wrong, we'll know now and she might be able to give him something to help, plus, we'll be armed with that for next weeks GP apt. She said I definitely need a progesterone level done at CD21, the CD3 test would be good but will have to wait until next cycle as I can't get into my GP today. Hopefully I won't need it. But she was lovely and it didn't feel like quackery. She was also very willing to work with my GP. I'm sure I could have gotten some of the stuff cheaper at the chemist warehouse 30 minutes away, but she had it there and it was more convenient.
So I have a plan for this month! And even though it's still mostly out of my control I feel like I stole some back from this crazy roller coaster ride that is TTC.
If this cycle doesn't work I think I might see a naturopath. I haven't done acupuncture for a while, either. But it didn't work last time I did it, so I am a bit blah about the idea of it.
Far out. Does anyone get painful Ovulation? I was awake for 2 hours this morning what what i can only assume is Ovulation pain. I couldnt get back to sleep until it stopped. It feels like what i normally get, in the same place...except im on CD13, and usually ovulate on CD17.
Its not enough to take panadol for (Well i would but i hate taking it unless im almost dying) but its constantly there like a tugging/pulling sensation. I got it for about an hour my first cycle, and a few hours last cycle... 2 hrs this morining and its come back again now Before DS i would just get the short "ouch!! What the heck was that? Oh that must have been O pain" but since comming off BC from having him, it seems to be getting worse each month Im dreading Ovulation more than AF these days.
thanks MrsLA, couldnt link until I got on to my laptop and only just got home!
Yes, Rainbow got some mentions too.
ive been thinking of trying accupuncture... though it scares me!!
Shadow - that sounds awful, have u had the pain checked out?
My tooth broke last week after having a root canal done (yuck!!). Went to the specialist this morning, she walked out with a massive pregnant belly.... I swear EVERYONE is pregnant at the moment (except for us haha!!) Well it feels that way anyway....
