Default TTC and not wanting to move #6

I think I will see how I go this cycle and see what DH's results are like and make myself an appointment to see a FS which hopefully I'll have to cancel as I'm UTD!

I was wondering this myself Noty but missed this forum. Thanks for the info!

Mumsical, can you work out from your Ovulation App how many times you've had sex in a true fertile period since you really started trying (you have an 18-month-old, but when did your period restart and when did you start charting?) We did not starting trying until Oscar was 15 months, as he was 4.6kg, and I was a waterslide!
But if you are having regular periods, chances nothing is wrong. Just timing. You could ask for: timed progesterone ie. 7DPO, E2 levels, FSH:LH, prolactin, thyroid, fasting glucose, lupus anticoagulant, amongst other basic tests. Then there is a HSO-gram, which is invasive, and looks at whether your tubes are patent.

    Thanks Noty and J

J - We wanted to have kids close together so we would be done by the time DH had to rejoin the airforce and be away 6 months each year so i stopped BF when my son was 6 month to get my cycles back. Cycles came back in Jan 2012 and I tracked the first cycle so i could see where I was at. Cycle was normal and ive used opks every cycle. They work perfectly for me. I have also been temping but only last 3 cycles. We have DTD on at least 2 of my most fertile days each cycle - mostly more and have had regular sex every second day or so spanning 10-15 days of my cycle. The only thing I notice is that I dont get much CM at all through any of my cycle but this is normal for me. If i do notice a tiny bit of eggwhite its always early in my cycle (like today on day 9).

Hi ladies, mind if I join you?
Ive been stalking this thread for a while, but never stopped to say hi!
Ive seen a few of you around in some of the testing threads, and thought I would jump across here too. The more support and advice the better right?

I'm so sorry to hear that a few of you have been ttc'ing for a while, it must be so hard I cant imagine what a year or more of this ttc craziness might feel like.

we have just started our 4th month of ttc our first babe! I am relatively relaxed (sometimes) and DH is oblivious to it all until I am around o time.
I'm using opk's and monitoring cm, but at this stage are staying away from temping, as I am a tad obsessive, and know it will consume me (analyising charts) if I start.

The only thing I notice is that I dont get much CM at all through any of my cycle but this is normal for me. If i do notice a tiny bit of eggwhite its always early in my cycle (like today on day 9).
I noticed this too, and have been taking Evening Primrose Oil for the past 2 months (only up until O) and it has made a MASSIVE difference, a lot more cm all month and ewcm for longer (2-3 days as opposed to 1/2 to 1 day)

Hi MrsLA! I've seen you around so much I never realized you weren't in this thread!! Welcome! It's good to be with the same few ladies each month and see each other through this. Hopefully you won't have to be here long.

Have you tried pre-seed? I don't get ewcm and we use pre-seed. I've read a lot of ladies say it took them ages and then once they started using pre-seed it happened straight away :-) we haven't been so lucky but I'm sure that's more to do with poor sperm for us.

Butterfly - i was thinking of trying that this cycle. I dont have a problem with wetness during sex but maybe its a hostile environment and preseed will help with that. Cant hurt

Hi ladies, mind if i join in too??

We are just starting cycle 3 of TTC #2. We were quite lucky and it took us 6mnths to concieve DS with 1 MC.

So far ive had 1 chem - 1st cycle off BC pill
and last month im claiming faulty tests, 2 chems back to back just doesnt seem fair, but i did get faint positives on 2 tests brands .

"Third time lucky" works for us. im on about CD8 or 9 (I forget) But i expect to O around the 14th of Jan Ive always had slightly longer cycles (around 33 days) but since having DS have been diagnosed with hypothyroidisim. From my research it can make things a little more difficult to concieve, and grow a healthy bubba inside if things arent monitored closely...but last time i got tested everything was perfect for TTC, so heres hoping that things stay that way.

When i last seen my GP in October, he asked when we were going to have another bub..... at that stage we were only going to start TTC now, we started a couple of cycles early... but he said he would see me in January with a bubby in my belly...so heres hoping i dont disapoint him

I have a good feeling about this cycle...DFs 30th is on the 15th (right after O, so hopefully nature gives him a nice present of a bubba in my belly) and it would make my EDD...my dads bday!! I have a habit of cutting things fine.
My angel bub was due xmas day 2010, DS was due on my uncles birthday, but came a bit over a week early.......... a DAY before my niece and uncle who share a bday... so it sounds about right that we would have an EDD of my dads bday lol

Same here, just don't use as much as they recommend or you will be slip sliding all over the place!
