Default TTC and not wanting to move #6

Yaay Rainbow - so glad to see you back . Good luck over the coming week and FX its 3rd time lucky xx

AFM - cycle day 9 here... Boring. Havent started DTD yet as hubby has a broken ankle in plaster - he has also decided that its difficult to shower more than every second day so he is not very appealing...

Does anyone know what tests I should get to check my fertility? We have been TTC for 11 cycles. Hubby's sperm test came back awesome - really high numbers. I have regular 28-29 day cycles (except last month was 26). I am temping and opks - both show me ovulating normally. I have normal periods, no excessive pain etc. we have an 18month old son so I just feel like given all this we should definitely be UTD by now

Thanks Its been a tough few weeks. Didnt want to be back here either (no offence ladies its not about you!! ) but I have to say I would rather be back here with such an amazing group than anywhere else. Everyone here has been so supportive.

Not sure whats happening, AF still hasnt returned since the D&C (which was on 2/12). I got to 7.5 weeks then found out there was no heartbeat Got FS appt on 14/1 to get results from the D&C then put a plan together from there. I think if theres no issues with the D&C then she will probably get me to do another round of IUI cos clearly I can get pregnant, I just cant keep them sticky, even though all my levels were fantastic. I think if theres an issue she will move us to IVF as she only recommends a maximum of 3 rounds of IUI. The waiting is doing my head in!!!!

I bet. It's just heart breaking, you so deserved it

Our FS says max 3 IUIs as well. I'm just worried we will run out of $$ before I get pregnant and have to wait to save up more. We've been pretty good, but ivf is 3x more expensive than IUI. Higher chance of success though, but I'm sick of odds. I don't want to be that 10% that has 3 cycles of unsuccessful IUI!

Hey Mumsical I started a thread with this question a week or so ago so check out the link below. There are quite a few tests. I went to the GP and she is getting DH's semen analysed but really just wanted to palm me off to a fertility specialist for my tests. I think I will see how I go this cycle and see what DH's results are like and make myself an appointment to see a FS which hopefully I'll have to cancel as I'm UTD!
