I had hyperemesis with my second, it was awful. I was in hospital three times on a drip. I couldn't keep any food or drinks down. I was told i have a very high chance of getting the same thing with my next, Im really really scared.

Wow - you poor things!! Mine wasn't too bad Channy. You know how you felt yesterday? That was my morning sickness. A 10 week hangover! I just had to remind myself to eat little bits all the time or I would throw up. The trade off for minor MS was that DD sat on my Siatic Nerve for 2 months. Ouch! My SIL had bad MS too. She was hospitalized twice! But it is all worth it in the end.

Might be out this month. Pink, creamy CM just now and slight cramping. Looks like AF decided no testing at all this month! I felt so positive from the beginning too.

I am sure that my DH will feel strange about IVF and will definitely need some convincing. This is why I haven't mentioned it yet. I guess I feel like with him being away so much and the fact that we have been trying 12 months now - that who knows how long it might take us to fall pregnant. Even for this year - we will only have 4 months out of 12 that we can actually even try naturally.

I am not overly worried about needing support emotionally and being tired. I know it will be hard but my DH has to go away - this cant be helped. I also don't see how the IVF drugs could be any worse than if I was actually pregnant. With my DS I was sick as a dog from 5-25 weeks. I was dead tired all the time and would vomit everything I ate (literally) It was the worst thing and I am dreading being pregnant again for this reason. I had to be hospitalised it got so bad.

So either way, I know it will be hard but I will just have to suck it up. I am a very strong and capable person - I know what you get at the end - a beautiful perfect baby. Anything is worth that
Could it be an option to do a stim cycle, but instead of having a fresh transfer, freeze the embryos and then do a fresh transfer when DH is home?

I'm not sure...it's hard for sure.

You can only talk about it and see what he thinks!

Mine and DS's birthdays today. We had a great pool party this morning so time for an arvo nap.

I've booked an early scan for 19 feb. Hoping everything is ok. Will be relieved to see a heartbeat.

    Noty, HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Squiggs, that sux, hope its nothing major and af stays away!
Mumsical, I think its definitely worth looking into IVF while DH is away.
I also know very little about IVF, so have no idea what it would be like to go through alone?

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. When you share a birthday with a gorgeous 2 year old (and my younger brother too actually) it's easy to get overlooked. DH got me a black diamond and white gold necklace and earring set. It's lovely but I bet it cost a fortune.

I'm feeling great just starting to notice my boobs feeling heavier. A bit tired as I've been stressed from party planning and have had lots of family staying. I'm only just over 5 weeks but am not expecting any MS as I had none at all with DS or with the molar pregnancy so I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones. Admittedly I did eat constantly (and gained and then lost 20kg) when preg with DS which probably helped.
