    Default Back Ache Help

I'm current at 11 weeks and my lower back is beyond sore. I didn't think I would get a sore back this early on as I'm not really showing yet.
I'm not sure what I really can do about it as they mention that you shouldn't have any massages is your first trimister, nor are you meant to use anti inflammatoires like voltaren gel.
Has anyone else started to get back pain and what do they do to combat it?

I wear a back support brace sort of thing and tubey grip (my spelling is probably wrong!). It has helped me heaps and I also go to physio

I'm sure your hospital would provide some kind of class if your going publicly if not even privately

You may also want to see your GP to get a check up. I had terrible back pain at the beginning of my pregnancy and it ended up being a urinary tract infection, and the only symptom I had was back pain!

    Default Back Ache Help

I had bad back pain at 9 weeks and I ignored it! I eventually got sciatica so I would definitely recommend that you do something about it. Go to physio or get a back brace or both. All the best!

    Default Back Ache Help

I had quite bad lower back pain for over 10 days... Did nothing about it until I thought about stretching (cat stretch). I did it several times that day and the lower back pain was gone by the next day!!! :-D

My physio gave me other stretch that I can do while at work and I do them every day. All is well now

Head to a physio that's specializes in pregnancy. I've had hip pain from very early on and have just decided to do something now it's unbearable....of course I can't get an appt for weeks though!
