What I don't get is how your story doesn't "add up"? You pre ordered the seafood, a fair bit bc it's xmas, you had the printed email, you picked it up. What's to get??

I think the issue was that it took me a few minutes to find the email on my phone.

I've just gotten a new phone and it only keeps emails less than 24hrs old on it, so I had to access the web version and it was just hard work. The whole time, she stood next to me making comments like; "I have the exact same phone as you, and MINE doesn't delete my emails" as if I was making it up and just trying to buy time or something!

But even then, as if I'd be able to design and build a fake HTML email to the exact spec of the Coles confirmation email on my mobile phone in less than 3 minutes. Like, seriously??

Default Would this make you feel bad?

I think I might have just walked out rather than be accused of nefarious plotting and escorted to the checkout.

Wow that's terrible!! I would have been livid, and probably would've complained right then and there whilst leaving them with the trolley and walking out.

I've been considering a boycott on my local Coles in objection to that stupid song playing over and over (FFS, I'm here aren't I?! You don't need to advertise to me anymore). Thank you for this nail in Coles's coffin
