    I would make a complaint. That is incredibly bizarre and unjustified behaviour. Very unprofessional and so rude. Man I would've kicked up a storm.

    Id be emailing coles head office and explain exactly what you've posted here.

    How bizarre though!? What part of your story didn't add up. Were they somehow surprised that someone was ordering large amount of prawns (maybe they didn't click what month it was?!)

    Wow! That's terrible. I would have been ****ed and put in a formal complaint for being treated that way as a paying customer. I would still call the complaint line about it. That's just so wrong and very strange.

    I saw you mention this in the 'dear' thread.

    How rude!! I think you should send an email to the store manager or even head office. There was no call for them to be so rude to you.

    I hope you manage to enjoy the prawns despite this.

    Eek, her manner was entirely inappropriate.

    Yes often when we do platters the deli staff escort the customer to the checkout, but that's more to help them with the trays and they often have the barcodes in a stack ready to hand to us, and explain complimentary items eg Jatz etc.

    As for escorting you due to possible theft, that I can understand also though I think it's abit much, but it could be that they have had a recent theft like that and are feeling abit overcautious atm.

    But they way she spoke to you? Not on. I would actually make a complaint.
