I had a dating scan yesterday and got to see our little bub! Today I am 10 weeks so I'm due around 3rd of August! Everything looked normal apparently and it's little heart was going 170 which the lady said was normal! Oh and there is definitely only one in there!!
    That's great VeganMum

Thankyou!! It was so exciting and my husband has never seen one before so was amazed and raved about it the rest of the day! Can't wait to actually hear the heartbeat though that will almost certainly make me cry!

Got to love those scans :-). We had our 12 week scan on Thursday - all looked great. Bub didn't get in the right postion for good pics, so I was told to go for a walk (I did a little belly dance).. & then we tried again.. 2nd time was better - we even got a pic with a wave and a 3D photo! He put us at 13 weeks, based on the scan - but with ivf, we are so sure of dates, we'll still say we're 12. 170bmp & nuchal measurement was excellent. Keep smiling girls

That's awesome Veganmum :-) I can't wait to have a scan and see the little one. Im hoping it was cause we dtd cause the dark brown has gone back to really light cream brown and the nasty pains are gone. Getting period like pains on and off but I'm pretty sure they are normal. Thanks feeling a little better. On a road trip to Adelaide so stuck in the bush until Monday.. Will book into the doctors as soon as we get there.

I just read your post from the other day Bon.. I am naive with regards to all the abbreviations on here.. but I'm guessing dtd means intercourse? My GP, specialist and ivf specialist told us to have no intercourse or orgasms (me) until we were safely at 12 weeks. I know lots of people do - but it made sense to me. The previous IVF cycle we had intercourse at about 3 weeks after transfer and lost it... so this time I was not prepared to risk it. We're now approaching 13 weeks (tomorrow). I had some spotting early on, and some cramping, but read that this was absolutely normal, as long a there was no bright red blood present. All the best

The cramping is normal, but it's all still so scary - even for me second pregnancy! I really thought I'd be calm this time.
I'll never be calm I guess lol

It's so exciting Blessedtobehere! I mean even if youve already felt your body change and know 100% that you're pregnant, nothing beats actually seeing the little bub for the first time!

Good luck Bon hope it all goes well at the doctors for you, I'll keep my fingers crossed!!

We havent really been dtd much as I've been so sick and tired but we have managed to a few times and now I'm worried and think I might just wait until the 12 week mark to be safe!
I've had kind of aching pain on the left hand side of my tummy (I'm no good with anatomy but it feels like my ovary or something!) but I am thinking it's normal as when I had my ultrasound the lady said that my left ovary is swollen because it was the one that released the egg and the hormones, call me naive but I didn't know that only one released the hormones! I guess I just never thought about it before! I wonder how long they stay swollen like that? Anyway I'm just rambling now haha, I have taken some panadol so hopefully that will ease it a bit!

Hope you ladies are all good this morning xx

I'll be booking my 12 week scan today. I've been busy so I bet I'll probably be almost 13 weeks by the time it's done. Doesn't matter

I can't wait to announce it on facebook lol so silly I know! But I'm dying to talk about it with the rest of my girlfriends.
Thinking of getting my DD to stand next to the chalkboard with "I'm going to be a big sister written on it", take a pic and that's how I'll post it to facebook.
    Cute?
