So I went to the doctor yesterday and she was lovely! She ordered a full blood test, did a wee test (which she also sent to pathology to make sure) and checked my blood pressure and even felt my tummy. She prescribed me maxalon, I've only had one so far so not sure how good it works yet! She also said I'm dehydrated which I knew anyway as I haven't been able to drink as much, so am trying to take water (with a little bit of cordial in it!) with me wherever I go and just sip on it! Fingers crossed my levels are all fine and that the maxalon starts to make me feel human again!!
    How is everyone else feeling?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! Ive noticed my boobs getting quite sore and swollen too and my current bra seems to be making it worse but I'm reluctant to buy a maternity type one now as it's still early days and if I remember from when I had my daughter they are quite expensive!!

Also is anyone showing yet? I've lost a bit of weight but I have a little pot belly happening already although I'm not sure if that's just bloating or water retention haha!

I've been having quite a bit of brown discharge with a tiny bit of red blood so my doc sent me for an ultrasound this morning... and I am happy to say that all is well . Bub is measuring spot on (I am 8w 6d) and had a nice healthy heartbeat of 159bpm and was wriggling and moving around. I am so relieved that all is ok

Thats good to hear that all is well, its always better for peace of mind to check these things out! That ultra sound is so cute, I didn't think youd be able to see much at 8 weeks but you can definitely tell it's a baby!!

Good news HappyChick. I'm showing VeganMum. I'm struggling to hide it sometimes - just wearing baggy clothes

Oh good I'm glad I'm not the only one!! I hate wearing pants at the moment as they just press too hard on my tummy so I've had to buy some leggings that fold at the top and basically living in my old trackies too haha!

With my first I didn't show for ages (16,17 weeks) but I think it's happening sooner. I'm 9 weeks and depending on what I wear I sometimes look preggo
