Mmm I have a thermomix but my fav thing at the moment is blitzing a packet of dates (reserving), blitzing and melting 2 blocks of good quality chocolate with 1 tin of coconut cream, adding the dates back blitzing and then you refrigerate it, scoop it into balls and roll it in whatever you want= best truffles EVER!

Whizz up a basket of choc ripple bisvuitaband a couple of peppermint crisp bars. Mix in half a tin of condensed milk. Either form logs or balls. Roll in coconut. The logs can look a bit like turds though. chill overnight. Slice the Logs before serving.

I make apricot balls for the kids snack

    2 cups toasted muesli
    1 cup dried apricots
    big squirt of honey.

Chuck it all in the processor and process until it all comes together then roll into balls and in coconut, sprinkles or just roll into balls and put in the fridge

The things I use it most for are:
    Homemade shortcrust pastry
    Pesto
Slicing the veg for quiche (with above mentioned pastry)
Grating the cheese for above quiche

It gets used quite a bit, but the above are what it's mostly dragged out for. I love my food processor, such a handy thing to have.

Default Favourite things with the food processor.

    I do a veggie patty.
    1 tin of rinsed beans/lentils/chickpeas
    1 onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1 carrot
    1 zucchini
About half a cup of grated tasty cheese
    1 egg
    Salt and pepper

Blitz it all, shape in to patties and fry, or spray with oil spray and bake at about 200C until baked. Time will depends on size etc.

I also do fruit and nut bars.

Blitz 3 cups of dried fruit
Blitz 1.5 cups of nuts and/or seeds
Mix in a bowl with one beaten egg and 1/3 cup of self raising flour OR 1/3 cup of LSA (for GF option).
Press in to a lined baking tray and bake at 150C (130 fan forced) for about 40 mins. Slice when slightly warm and refrigerate for up to a week.
I have used all sorts of fruit - dried apricots, prunes, dates, apples, cranberries, and all sorts of nuts and seeds - pepitas, sunflower seeds, pecans, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts.
It is super versatile and food processor does the hard part in a few seconds
