Default Favourite things with the food processor.

I just got a food processor and I want to use it to its full potential. What do you use yours for? Favourite recipes?

Not entirely done in the food processor, but I love it to blitz biscuits to make the base for cheesecake and also rum balls!

Smoothies, dips and as Boobycino - banana ice-cream, it's freakin' yummy!

So many things!! There are loads of cake recipes like orange cake you can blitz.

I always use it for soup, sauce, casserole or curry bases by blitzing onions, garlic, carrots and celery then frying these off before adding other bits and pieces. I also wiz up pastry and pizza dough.

Jamie Oliver uses his throughout his 30 minute and 15 minute books. He even did a salad by whizzing the dressing first the putting on the slicer attachment and pushing all the fresh ingredienta through.

I'm keen to hear about how you go with this. I've never had much luck - very disappointing for this ice cream addict, I'm desperate for another alternative to bowls and bowls of delicious ice cream!

I wiz my bananas with yogurt and honey then freeze. Delicious!! It also makes good "pops" too if you have any of those icy pole makers.
