I've found it works more in ramping things up in early labour and getting contractions regular and established than actually starting labour

Default Clary sage oil to induce labour

It worked for me! I used it in a couple of ways.... Few drops in the bath, in an oil burner and Agnew drops mixed with bio oil massaged on my belly (not all at the same time)
It was definatly most potent when massaged on my belly. I started having pains and lots movement almost straight away. Labor really started on the second night I used it with both babies.

Did nothing for me. At 41 weeks, I doused a hanky in it and wore it around my neck, as well as rubbing it into my skin in a carrier oil and using it in the bath. My dh was over the smell of it because it was continuously burning in our house until i was induced at 42 weeks.
