Default Does anyone else get faint lines on first response tests?

I was about 4 days late, took two tests and they both had faint lines. Then I got my period the next day... It's been just brown spotting for a few days now. Not like a regular period. Did another test today just out of curiosity and there is no line at all.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm really confused about what could have happened... false positives maybe?

I heard there were a few false positives going around lately. Was it perhaps an evap line or possibly a chemical?

I don't think it was an evap line... I am pretty sure it was pink, whereas when I was ttc my son I had a few evap lines and they were white, looked kind of like the outline of a line if you know what i mean?
The test I did today was out of the same box and there was definitely no line.
It's possible I could have been... I dtd around the time I would have ovulated... what is a chemical?

A chemical is I think an early miscarriage where the baby doesn't implant and it usually ends as a period so most people don't know unless they test early.
Perhaps try a new test to see if there's a line or not?

I got a very faint (more of a pink glow than pink line) and then a darker but still very faint line 2 days later. I Got AF 3 days early!

A chemical is where a fertalised egg implants but doesnt stick properly, and you usually get AF a few days late, or on time. Its a very early miscarriage. The reason its called a chemical is because if you hadnt tested (with a test, being a chemical means) you wouldnt have known.

Same thing happened to me two faint lines in a row the a negative then a faint line and then I got my period 4 days late. It was a really painful period that lasted a couple of days more the usual so I'm not sure what happened in my case.
