Default Someone breastfeeding your bub? What do you think?

Would you allow another mum to breast feed your baby to build her supply if her own baby refuse to latch on?

I have low supply my bub latches well and am given this option by a mum. She has all the tests by doctor.

I'd like to say I would, but I don't know if I could.

I would and have happily accepted donor milk though.

Umm not sure, I want to say yes but unsure if I would.
I don't see any problem with other people doing it though

Default Re: Someone breastfeeding your bub? What do you think?

after spending 7hours plus feeding today, I'd say hells yes to give my nips a break

seriously tho, if I knew the person well I don't think I'd have a problem with it. as long as wet nurse is healthy and drug free of course.

No, some std's can take months to show up on a test, so even though she's tested negative it could not be accurate. Or how do I know what she's up to behind closed doors. I'm paranoid like that though!

Like others have said, I'd like to say yes but don't know if I was in the situation. Certainly donor milk but breast feeding my be, for lack of a better word, to intermit.

I don't know if I could breast feed someone else's baby for that matter.... Maybe someone I was close too...

I would offer to breast feed someone else's baby if the circumstances called for it but don't think I could allow someone else to breast feed my baby. I barely allow people to cuddle my babies at the best of times

No I probably couldn't be comfortable with that. I would love to be able to say sure but I probably wouldn't.
